Yes, I was wondering why "Geoff" too.
There was a big one in our bath. I eventually removed it when I wanted a bath...

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I am managing to keep all the geoffs under control at the moment. Like rocky, I suck as many as I can up into the vacuum cleaner. We are being plagued by waspy feckers though. Dam things.

Fair weathered, fair minded but easily persuaded.
I have Daddy Long Legs in plague quantities each evening. They are certainly keeping the cat fit.

I do the glass\coaster gag on them..... Then put them outside...... If its a particularly big one... I listen nervously for the cat flap opening.......

Edit... Just realised therres nothing to show size on that photo..... But when my eyes caught it scuttling across the floor I thought for a spilt second it was a mouse!!!!!

Not enough in our house, apparently. My 4 year-old keeps coming home with all sorts of creepy crawlies he's captured. Recently, he's taken to transporting them home in his lunchbox! This morning he had hidden a nice little black spider in a tupperware container under his bed. So i've (given in) compromised and bought a cheap terrarium. A few leaves and some moss for a bed at the moment, but we're looking forward to making a better home tomorrow.
