A chav hasn't necessarily stolen anything yet...What's the difference between a chav and a scrote?
I'd been told it was one of my home towns claims to fame, yes. I think I even know the diamante clown selling jewellers.I always thought is was the Medway towns.
Different disapproving ways of describing someone 'other'.What's the difference between a chav and a scrote?

Oh come on! The Medway towns aspire to Chavdom!!! That's when they think they've escaped Sittingbourne!I always thought is was the Medway towns.
Gravesend, home of the finest Georgian street yet to be seen on a FNRTTC. (© @dellzeqq) Mind you someone, can't recall who, perhaps Justin(e) on YACF corrected him, saying it was either too early or too late, I can't remember which, to be Georgian. He now lives in Australia, presumably on a witness protection programme.Sittingbourne? In the Medway Towns we only knew where Sittingbourne was because it's where you turn left to go to Leysdown. From Strood, if we wanted a posh days shopping, we'd go to Gravesend.
(I recognise that this may be somewhat off topic)
It must differ around the country, Chavs are not always working class, and actually working class people can be very wealthy these days and at the same time a "middle class" person can have debt and little access to credit. What I meant was, there is always at least one person or group in any walk of life (or internet) who will throw stones for the fun of it, and it is this attitude that is chavvy (for want of a better word).Who could be more important than a cyclist?!
You know comments like that don't help. Chavvy always refers to the working class. I think you will find its not just them. Maybe a majority may actually be of a different class?

The two conditions are not exclusive though.I think you'll find he lives in Australia because he's Australian (if that's enough of an excuse).
