Took my dog to the vets today

Took my dog (Alsation/Border Collie cross) to the vets today, not good news either. He has muscular wasting in his hind legs, a heart murmer, an enlarged prostate and a build up of fluid in his abdomen. He has been put on medication called metacam. If he doesnt show improvements when i go back in a month...... cant bring myself to say it but u get the idea.

How old is your dog?

My last (out of seven) remaining cat is now very old and I dread taking her to the vet for anything as the news is usually not that good.

Here he is aged 1, me age 18 and my 6 month old nephew

He is 13 years old and has been in very good health until these last couple of months.

You don't need to nag me, I will be looking after him. He has looked after me often enough.

Not at all, I know there are so many irresponsible pet owners out there that leave it too late to get them looked at

Hope Simba gets better. I have a 6 year old dog and even now I dread these sort of things. Hope he get well!!
