Couple of years ago, our 5 year old (at the time) said he was going to check the handwriting on his Christmas presents and see if Santa had the same hand writing as his parents. Too clever by half ...

Just remember this though.
The Tooth Fairy wants the tooth, the whole tooth and nothing but the tooth.

Not increased much over 40 years. Got 50p the last time.

£1 was the going rate but the youngest is at the stage (13) where he just tells me the tooth fairy forgot to collect but would I like to give him the money and I can put it under my pillow to see if the fairy is any better at turning up!!! Cheeky brat!

As for books at around that sort of age (my memory fades) - The 100 mile an hour dog was a favourite (and the two subsequent ones), and The Giggler Treatment!
