Nip to Boots chemist, if the pain didn't come on immediately you broke it, it might be bcoz the nerve is exposed to air, rather than being damaged, and they have fix it kits I heard. Covering the tooth might helps a bit.
Blinking flip. I broke a tooth yesterday and now it's started to ache like mad. The soonest I can get to the dentist is tomorrow morning at 9:30 and I've already got through a box of paracetamol and a bottle of clove oil.
The last time I had a toothache I could still sing soprano!
If you offer yourself up for more soprano singing treatment that should take your mind off the toothache
No Boots here, unfortunately! The nerve is definitely exposed, I can't swill chilled vodka.
Try another chemist. I think most of them have temporary fix it kits.
