Not great, it seems that the smaller name presenters seem to do a better job.
The Focus RS section stood out as being the best presented, followed by the Ferrari TDF.
Sabine is surprisingly disappointing, but perhaps that was because she was put with CE in the Audi R8 feature.

The star in a car bit dragged on a bit, too.

Tonight episode was far better than the the rest. The mix of additional presenters was a good move. Le blanc was entertaining In the block car.

Its starting to look a little different now...not totally but a bit

Matt le Blanc is still as convincing as a plank of wood.

I found him OK in the Ken Block Skit but then he was playing a tourist version of his Joey Character, so that's probably more to do with my lack of imagination than his talent. However, he is not a good presenter and seems awkward and unsure of how to "be". I Vaguely know the director of the first two series of Episodes and from what I hear, Le-Blanc is quite a character, its a shame he cant let us see that and seems constricted by his desire to be taken seriously.

I suppose the guy has spent a few decades trying to drop the dummy act, so its no surprise he's slightly inhibited from letting loose.

It's a bit more complicated than that...
I've just watched episode 3 - and it's beginning to a get a life, mainly by taking the mickey out of the old conventions. Schmidt has a very dry sense of humour - I never expected to hear a (non)joke in German on Top Gear. Both of the junior presenters were enthusiastic without being annoying - and they both managed to convey some real information about technology without really detracting from silly films.

Probably the best one so far.

Everyone had a decent section, however, when it comes to presenting Evans is still the weakest link. He seems to confuse enthusiasm with volume.

Rory Reid for me, he's far too boy racer for my liking. Chris Harris is probably my favourite, comes across as knowledgeable and passionate.

While I'm a bit disappointed they didn't change the format much, there were some great challenges and overall it was a pretty fun watch. I liked the new "Star" section, but if they keep it they really need to ditch the cringeworthy "read this off an autocue" bit.

I've watched a couple of episodes on iPlayer and just fast forward through the "star in a car" section - definately a weak part of the show and surprising that it accounts for 25-33% of the airtime now.

I watched 10 mins of the first one with Evans. Thought it was dreadful, and have not been back. Might have a look on catch up.
