  1. Buses - Especially when they make misjudgements.
  2. HGV's - I dont see many of them around but they can be dangerous.
  3. Black Audi's/BMW's - Stereotype mode kicking in.
  4. WVM - No explanation needed.
  5. Taxis - The next fare is the only thing on the mind.
  6. Old people - Normally driving Micra's or Qashqai's.
  7. Lead footed teenagers - Who have only just passed their test and dont know how to drive around cyclists. Normally driving Clio's, Corsa's, Saxo's, 106's, Fiesta's.
  8. Chelsea tractors - Mums on the run normally drive these and must rush everywhere.
  9. Mobility scooter riders - Have a tendency to not look when crossing the road.
  10. Other cyclists - Especially when they cut across junctions/dont signal/dont shoulder check. They are a real hazard.

BMW MINIS? :rolleyes::laugh:
Oh yes, I've had many moments with Mini encounters. I don't know whether it's because they think the Mini bit of the name means it can squeeze in anywhere, even where you actually are or whether they simply don't care. Smartie pants - this is the name for Smart car drivers and drivers' style, isn't it? - doesn't care either.

Round our way it's people (mostly men) in those oversized 4x4 pickup type thingies with a big bit at the back for carrying rolls of chicken wire and hay bales - none of which are ever carrying rolls of chicken wire or hay bales. They seem to be hugely over-aggressive when driving them, as @Col5632 will testify!

I don't buy this BMW/Audi thing, black or otherwise, but I may be wrong. Has there ever been a proper study of the vehicle types that have been involved in accidents? Maybe our police CCers could shed some light on this. At the moment my worst driver is an aggressive twat in a rather nice grey Skoda estate who has offered me physical violence as I appear not to have noticed his importance on the road.
Does anyone else here have a significant problem with drivers of grey Skodas?

All drivers scare me - regardless of the vehicle.

I am a hazard - a vulnerable one.

Drivers that approach hazards with zero attempt at altering their speed/course to take the hazard into account are driving dangerously/without due care and attention.

I get it every time I ride, and I am farking sick of it. I don't ask to be targetted. I pull over on narrow lanes so as not to hold people up. I have lights. I ride safely, I don't RLJ - so why people think it is ok to give me a 6" flypast, drive at me at 60mph and generally act like I am an inconvenience is beyond me.

It's high time the driving public in this country grew the fark up and accepted the great responsibility that comes with driving.

Collectively killing 2000+ people in the UK year in year out has got to stop, and if 40-50% of drivers are surplus to requirements on the road because they're unable to drive responsibly, then so be it.
