@flyingfifi bought one in the sales not long ago, she thinks it's excellent.
I got a Joe Blow Max HP in the same sales, which I found excellent too.
It replaces a Park Tool one that I have had difficulties with on Presta valves.

Sounds like I got a duffer then, guess which retailer it came from who insisted there was nothing wrong with it when I tried to take it back  one ray of sunshine, I don think it cost me as much as £27
A mate of mine bought a Joe blow of some variety and I kid you not 85psi was the most it could get into his tires.

You probably bought one of the shoot models unfortunately as did my mate.

The older I get, the faster I used to be ...
I've got a JoeBlow Sport - no problem putting 110/120psi into tyres. My only complaint is the difficulty in sourcing just the rubber washers for the presta side of the pump head. I really object to having to buy a whole rebuild kit for the sake of a 10p rubber washer. They are avaiilable to dealers but I've yet to find them stocked. Anyway, the pump's good, and I've put a Topeak brass chuck on mine, which suits me.

I've had a JB Sport for 7 or 8 years
I've had it up to 160psi, pressure testing a worn rim (which failed, very loudly indeed).
