Toppeak Rear Mudguard Question.

Just got myself a toppeak rear mudguard but I'm stumped on one bit.
Its the strap that goes round the seat post. There is a crome pin that need to come out so I can put the strap around the post but I'm insure on how to get the pin out.

Got any ideas as I'm bound to break it

No no no....on mine I took out the little cross head screw, the pin never comes out.

It has a yellow dial that you push up adjust then push back to tighten and a ring pull clip that you push back to lock in position but I still need to get the strap around the seat post..

Ahhh they must have updated it since I bought mine. But the pin sounds the same, is there no instructions on their website?

Looking at the online catalogue it looks like the quick release lever is the one that pivots open.

Just been brave and forced the the pin out and its released so I might be alright, it is just tight from being new I'm guessing..
