I just met Vicky and Peter Daly in Dunfermline who are in the middle of LEJOG. They were at the top of the killer hill at Masterton, and looking fresh as daisies. They are from Cumbria and raising money for
Colitis and Crohns UK and have a 'Just Giving' account, and it's also Vicky's birthday today. I just had to jump out the car and speak with them.
They had had a tough time trying to find their way around Edinburgh with the tram works, but had set off from their B&B after a hearty highland breakfast today.
Vicky was wearing a red jacket emblazoned with LEJOG which made me stop. They had surprisingly little gear
, two smallish rear panniers and a rack pack. Vicky said she only has one item of evening wear.
Sorry, no photo as I have a rubbish phone but I'm sure they're known to you LEJOGGERS. I'm now inspired to get training.
