Wolf runs are bad enough but not Tough Mudder bad. Did the Ramathon at Stoneleigh showground a good few years back and that was bad enough, stupidly signed up with mates to do the TM, as previously mentioned and didn't enjoy it.

Easy for a man of your stature to say that....

I believe Hyrox also falls into that category

Friend of mine has done a Hyrox, she's not especially macho, just fit and strong and bloody minded!

Dogtrousers

Lefty tighty. Get it righty.
I know someone who did one a few years ago. It's very much not my kind of thing but she enjoyed it, but not enough to do it more than once. Mind you my friend is a triathlete/ runner and physically I don't think she found it that much of a challenge.

There's a lot of razzamataz and if you like that kind of thing and are doing it with a group and have sufficient fitness then I imagine it could be a lot of fun.

But not for me, even if I was physically capable, which I'm not.

Hyrox is another level and a serious workout. Definitely one for gym bunnies and youngsters IMHO, and not old farts like me.

My friend who did one is 53, so depends how old you are (she does HIIT workouts 3-4x a week)

As im very nearly 61 its definitely a younger person's thing.

Surprisingly, it's still £3
It was one of my favourite short races, not easy though!!

This was another fun one, near Haworth
(the name is because you pass 'Top Withins' on the return, which is always referred to as the model for 'Heathcliffes house in 'Wuthering Heights')

This is proper. Tough Mudders, whilst doubtless tough, seem rather, well, silly to me.

On ‘the tops’, before getting to ‘Top Withins’, if it’s wet, you’ll be in peat bog that can vary from ankle to crotch deep
(more of the latter!!)
