Tough ride in today...

Had a tough ride to work this morning; +5°C, wet roads but no rain - battled 14+ mph south, south easterly wind (gusting to 30 mph according to the Met Office). My slowest average speed for a long, long time

Mind you, if the wind stays the same for the homeward leg (which of course it won't ) , at least I'll get a push!

Just to rub it in, my London commute was lovely sunny blue sky.

it is for a lot of commuters, also yesterday was a pretty decent day up here.

I'll be facing the 15.mph south/south westerly wind going home tonight if it doesn't change direction, which it won't. A great work out will be had by all. I've nothing in the way of hill work on my way to or from work so headwinds are my hills

Yup, had that lovely gusty head/cross-wind coming hoe tonight.

what a ride back almost perfect tailwind for most of the route, hitting 25-28mph on the flats.... actually terrifying.
