I've noticed that the new Tour 2008 DVD is now available to buy... Makes me really wish i had the technology (and time) to have taped all of Cavandish's wins (grrrr!) on TV.

Even so i can't wait to re-live them all over again! Hopefully i'll be able to watch it this time without nearly giving myself a hernia from all the shouting at the TV!!

Welcome T C. This years TDF was very good for a lot of reasons, Cavendish being one of them. It is a shame he will not be riding the TOB this year.

It is a shame. I also feel bad for him that he quit the Tour early, only to end up being the only member of the Brit Cycling Team (or "Team GB" - yuk!) to leave Beijing without a medal!

Shanaze Reade also came home empty handed after her death or glory ride in the BMX Final. I also really felt for Cav would have loved to see him win on the Champs Elysees but am sure we will see it at some point in the future.

Men's road racers all bailed, all the MTBers, the other lady in the women's road race who wasn't Emma Pooley and the fella in the men's time trial all failed to win a medal.
