I couldn’t comment on the climb, due to watching NZ coverage again. Seems the tv pics take quite a while to get there.
Positive signs for Ving today I thought.
So, Vingegaard did the climb about 90 seconds faster than Mayo's record, which was set in a time trial. Not bad with a headwind as well.

Couldn't have got that more wrong. When the GC group looked out of any stage contention I thought they were going to just follow each other to the line and that Mas was going to ride away to a comfortable win. Glad I caused a reverse commentators curse though, no need for everyone to thank me.
