Things can only get better - Loulou

Julian Alaphilippe (Tudor) had announced he targeted stage 2 of the Tour de France 2025, with a punchy finale suited to his abilities, but the Frenchman struggled with illness yesterday (173rd, +6’41’’). He hopes to quickly turn the tables: “Yesterday was a really tough day. I knew it could be complicated, but I didn't imagine it would be this bad. I really suffered. I've been ill for the last few days. I thought things were going in the right direction, but I really suffered yesterday and we'll see how it goes today. It's in my bronchial tubes, a cold I think. I'll see how it goes today. It's supposed to get better and better. In any case, it can't be worse than yesterday!"
