One second at the end?

Not sure I get why Pog sprinted at the end when he seemed so keen to give the jersey up. I genuinely don't think he can help himself, it's like me on an easy pace parkrun where I'm miles away from my PB and tell myself I'm not going to sprint then hear someone breathing hard just behind me!

If the aim of having Simon Yates in the breakaway was to either a) make UAE chase all day and keep Pog in yellow or b) provide a target up the road for Vingegaard, I think it can go down as about as successful as a Wile E Coyote plan.

The fact it was 1 second is just incredible luck, would only have been funnier if Pog's sprint for 9th had meant he kept yellow.

Great to see Healy win. In his interview he admits to analysing his racing as I know his instincts are always "Attack."
The move he made off the front of the breakaway didn't seem an obvious point, great chess move!
