I guess it's similar to the Dauphine. Visma put pressure on pog early on flater days trying to build fatigue and isolating pog somewhere. Didn't work at the Dauphine but a lot more stages before the mountains here

Sepp Kuss came in over 2 minutes down, but had the same 39" gap shared by the second group.
I wonder if he crashed?
Neither of the Yates twins are going to feature in any GC undercard scrap, either.
Lenny last home, almost 3 minutes behind Thibau Nys and Lewis Askey.

The Dauphine was just about loosening him up for week three, long term planning... :becool: 😉
