It's a pity they can't award a white jersey with very long sleeves that tie very tightly behind your back to the numpties with smoke bombs and idiots trying to run alongside. I hope they get done .

It did look like somebody actually got hit with burning material from one today (I can't remember who) although as they didn't react beyond flinching I think they got away with it. Pretty scary though.

Pog looks like he’s riding conservatively. JV’s third week prowess is in part built around a couple of days when Pog wasnt feeling great, possibly due to a lack of prep. It ignores Pog’s third week antics in 2020, 2021 (he still beat JV in a couple of MTF’s) and 2024.

Isolating pog and getting Jorgensen up the road is almost impossible. And they need to do it on a flat/ medium.mountain day ..... Not much medium mountain days in this tour

Chance of a bit of wind related echelon shenanigans near the end apparently, Mont Cassel will be raced hard to attempt to dislodge Milan Merlier etc. but it should be a pure sprinter shootout. The aforementioned M's will be itching to go having not has a sniff in stages 1 & 2.
actual finish looks pretty clean, but there is a fair bit of street furniture / raised concrete on the little roundabout where the cars pull out at 410m on your map. Anyone not on the RHS of the road has no chance.

Looks like the Lidl Trek management agree. Saw a reel this morning of Milan going to the Intermarché team bus to apologise. They're probably just glad Aldi don't have a team: their social media team are savage.

Hardly likely since they will be riding directly into a strong headwind for the last 75kms.

It was just what the analysts were saying after ydays stage, if you look there is zig zag on the map either side of the Cassel which is where they saying, as those stretches arent directly into the expected headwind.
Bit of overlap with stage 1 but clarified in blue.....

I prefer it when Visma aren't in a yellow, so that's a positive, but there are a few similar-ish kits, where you're relying on shoulder colours etc to distinguish
