Great stage finish that. I didn't think Pog was looking his usual self on the final climb and he wasn't quite on the wheel on a few occasions just beforehand. Jonas on the other hand is competing on the terrain where Pog would normally have the big advantage and is looking much better than he was at the Dauphine. I've said it before but these sorts of stages with short. sharp hills toegther with medium mountain generally make for more exciting racing that the big, hyped up mountain days.

BBC saying MVDP in yellow still, but they get all sorts wrong.

I am always amazed by the number of riders from all nationalties, and directors sportifs who speak English. Yet, how many British riders speak a second language? Very few I guess.

Why would they need to - English is so widely spoken that if that's your first language you don't need anything else.
But if your native tongue is say Spanish, French, etc - then you need the English language in you're armoury.

Yes, unless you want to watch on multiscreen, which I don't.

Yes, every other race has had an option to watch without ads, I get this is the biggest race and they can probably get more income but it's a bit of a kick in the teeth for the large increase in subscription.

Yes, if I was paying £31 a month and they took away the ad free option (that I used to get for £6 - £20 a year dependent on offer), I'd be mighty annoyed.

Haven't had the Eurosport or disco app for a while now, just tnt on TV. £18 still stings but will get rid once the season is done.

Indeed. My £15.49 per month 'special offer' will run out towards the end September. No way I'll be giving those moneygrubbing bleepers £31 per month over the winter, to watch what?
