The least the organisers could do on borefest stages like this is have numerous intermediate sprints.

30km done at just over 40km/h. No break. Nothing happening. A classic go for a nap (or watch the cricket, tennis, other bike races, submarine racing, rugby) stage

And this is the lumpier of these two weekend stages.
Commentary now talking about how to make these stages more interesting….

In Denmark, the Tour is shown free to air and advert free on TV2.

I'm thinking of trying to find a feed with adverts on it. For the love of God, can I please have a suffering donkey or some funeral arrangements to relieve the tedium?

I am watching Dr Who and the Daleks - I've seen it dozens of times since it first had me diving for the back of the sofa in 1965 but I still can't bring myself to change channel to the TdeF ^_^

Classic siesta stage today. Will be finding the coolest room with a TV and going for a doze shortly. It was ‘only’ 24 degrees at the start of parkrun this morning but it has wiped me out for the day. No idea how these guys race day in, day out in this heat.
