DK TV2 reports that Vingegaard isn't going to ride the TT on the TT bike with lightweight wheels he tested the route on this morning.

Instead he's going to ride it on a brand new modified TT bike that was delivered last night, that he's never ridden before.
If this turns into Roglic's Helmet Part 2 I'm going to kill somebody.

For Lanterne enthusiasts, Luka Mezgec is leading the way (bringing up the rear) so far, with a time of 31:28 - nearly a minute and a half slower than current Lanterne Mattéo Vercher

If the winning time was 22 minutes dead (we've discussed above this might not be a good thing, alive is generally better) then the cutoff at 40% would be 30:48. At 23 minutes it would be 32:12

My guess is that there's some tiny marginal gain re weight, but the frame and setup is identical otherwise so no issue with it being weird/different, and that it was largely planned as a tool of psychological warfare* and now they've decided to use it they're going to stick with it.

*It might have rounder wheels or something
