"TT had been like this for months, with the time limit set at 33%. And suddenly, 10 minutes before the start, that time limit was raised to 40%. I find that really disappointing, especially since the conditions haven't really changed"
Other teams and riders also found the race jury's panic action unnecessary.
Why did the jury do that? Because, according to the riders, certain teams complained about the time limit. The names of the complainants were not mentioned. Lidl-Trek, owned by green jersey wearer Jonathan Milan, claims they certainly didn't lobby
