No, if you go the other way at Luz you get to a place called Gedre, where it forks one way to the Cirque du Troumouse, and the other to the Col des Tente (Gavarnie)

They've never been included in races because they're protected parks, so the race caravan wouldn't work. It's the same reason they go to Cambasque but never Pont d'Espagne out of Cauteret. Tromouse is my favourite. Really spectacular. The "Cirque" is because of the amphitheater like ring of mountains at the top that form the border with Spain. From the Tentes you can actually walk to Spain I think.
