His palmares is pretty good really, 4*Eneco Tour GC, Brabantse Pijl, Grand Prix Cycliste de Montréal, GC in Ruta Del Sol, POlogne and Besseges...

Good day for the two super doms and thoroughly deserved by Wellens. Wout’s year summed up as he gets beaten in the sprint for third by Alaphillipe who may or may not have thought he won. Ineos have finally turned up two weeks to late with C Rod taking back a huge chunk of time in the GC top 10.

JA apparently did think he’d won and wouldn’t give an interview. It’s not like Wellens snuck away at the last second unnoticed and Campenaerts would have been in sight down the finish straight. It shows how much he did on the front! Maybe they need to redo his concussion protocol
