Declassification would be appropriate - not just take the points but give them to Arensman, who was second

Double points in the KOM finish is silly imo.

I can understand it having more points for same category than one earlier in stage, but not double.

It makes a mockery of wanting breakaways on hilly stages.

It still seems silly to me that Lenny could get max points on the first two HC climbs today and then have that brought back by finish kom win.

Not sure I like the theoretical potential of yellow jersey winning green and polkadot and white as well I know Pog can't win white these days).

Oh I'm hoping he's kept out of green at least, white would be difficult this year as he's too old.

KoM has always been difficult, because the actual best climbers are almost always contesting the mountain finishes as they're riding GC.
As for the double points today, they've always been there for the Souvenir Henri-Desgrange, they just happen to be at the finish instead of a mid point climb today
