They have actually started riding as though it may be a bike race.

It's mildly more interesting than the build up to the ladies footy. Will watch the game but can't stand the pre game banal chat

Thinking back I wonder whether Pog’s arm injury has given him more issues that he’s let on? He killed the game ace off the next day but it feels like he hasn’t been himself since that and it’s noticeable he’s kept it covered with an arm warmer ever since.

I never bother watching this pointless procession.
I may tune in for the Champs.

I like that they get to celebrate just making it to the finish. It reinforces just how hard the race is which you can easily forget with the way they keep riding at such stupid pace. However, I would be annoyed if there was a stage with huge crosswinds and they didn’t try to race especially if it was still quite close on GC.

I like the procession. After three weeks of the hardest race in the world, where most of the riders will be on a flight home within a couple of hours of finishing, it's good they can have a moment to say hello, bury any hatchetts etc. Especially as they might hardly get a chance how the race is ridden these days where there's little time for chinwagging in the peloton. Nobody's forced to watch, of course, but moaning about it seems churlish after they've turned themselves inside out for three weeks for your entertainment.

All Lanterne Rouge DSs get on the blower now!

"Due to the weather conditions, the general classification times will be taken at the 4th crossing of the finish line, 50.3 km from the finish. "

That's before the first Montmartre circuit. There's still a chance to drop off the back and lose those vital seconds!
Will Lidl-Trek let their 1-2 of Consonni and Theuns fight it out in a slow bike race? Or is there a team order?
Surely Meeus can't make up the three minutes he gave away yesterday to take back the lead he held for so long?

On the subject of domestiques it feels like the key men for both VLAB and UAE have gone missing at times. Narvaez and Campenaerts have been excellent with Wellens and Pollitt doing their jobs but the others have been hit or miss at best.

I guess I won’t be tuning in then.
