Not surprised by the winner.
KNP way too early leading out the sprint.

She would have got smoked in a straight up sprint, so didn't have much choice. There was a moment's hesitation about chasing, could have worked, was pretty close

If she had waited just another 30 metres, she would probably have held on. That’s assuming the same hesitation.
We’ll never know.

The commentary team I was listening to made the observation that she usually went to soon, just as they passed under the kite.

Regarding PFPrevot ,It's normal in the men's TdF not win the following year and that's the same in the women's version (in it's current incarnation).
I do wonder though if she's targeted Mont Ventoux and will win that , or is she just not at that level this year?

I think you might find in the mens the same person has won for the last three episode.🤷🏼‍♂️

I thought she’d got it as the gap seemed huge but Demi just persevered and down it came but I did think that Ruesller was going to mug her at the end.

They've sprinted against each other a fair few times . I think . Demi always wins

It's unclear what ELB is looking at from her ice bath, but it's a thousand yards away at least. If we ever worked out what Arthur (Vichot) had seen we could ask him if ELB was looking at the same.

Cracking stage yesterday. Similar series of hills today. Seems like Polka Puck has made her intentions clear so she'll be to the fore initially.

Whichever way the play it, we won’t get to see it. Back to the late start for live coverage.
Poland looks good today, so I might give it priority today.
