I am quite partial to a drop of the Beaumes de Venice red, although as you say, I haven’t seen it around in the UK. I never turn my nose up at a Cotes du Ventoux either, having done the odd degustation in the ac area.
Carlton Kirby’s favourite wine area, don’t you know.

Ventoux looks like quite a benign little hill. Maybe a nice place to go for a bike ride.

I'm sure the peloton would love that - not sure it's ever been past. The town is about 4000 inhabitants and as well as having Faxe Brewery (which makes both Faxe beers and Faxe Kondi) they have a Haribo factory.

Are you sure? Even from Le Thor, which is I think 20 miles away, Ventoux looked grey on top. That hill looks too green.

Yes, I noticed that the caravan is only 20 minutes ahead of the race.
Vollering could do a Pogacar and almost catch it!
