I have noticed that, ITV are a pain :cursing:

I watch most of my telly either on the xbox 360 ( got one in the living room and one in the bedroom ) or on freeview as I got rid of sky at the beginning of the year and just use the sky box as a freesat box.

The only draw back is no recording facility, but the upside is I get out on my bike a lot more and watch a lot less crap

We use the 360 loads, as we don't have sky, but my dad does, so we use the allowance for an Xbox on the account. We use it for films and catchup. But itv not playing is down right stupid.

At the moment I mainly seem to use Netflix and I have a 4 month cheap deal on Sky Now for streaming films though I doubt I will keep it when it goes up to full price.

if I want to rent a video I use Blinkbox the latest films are £3.49 and you can order one then you can watch it as many times as you want from when you first watch it for a 48 hour period on the TV, PC, Phone, Tablet, Xbox etc.

Tbh the Xbox is used more as a media streaming device than a gamer. It's on the main telly to stop no1 son playing it too much.

I haven't used mine for games since xmas, the reason I have 2 is because I still have the first Xbox 360 that cam out and they were so damn cheap at xmas got another one as it was the cheapest option for a internet tv device.

ITV seem to be unnecessarily complicated with it's need to insert adverts and control how you view their services. Try watching the last 10 minutes of the tour de france on ITV player and you'll be expected to watch every ad break that you've skipped just to get to the bit you want to watch.
