So today is the short TTT which means it's unlikely that anyone will make any big gains in time over the others, however it will be interesting to see how Saxo Bank fare and whether or not they can come in ahead of Sky, HTC or Garmin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...it's unlikely that anyone will make any big gains in time over the others...

I agree, although I wouldn't rule out one of the serious contenders having some kind of incident that costs them a minute or two.

Feel sorry for Gilbert?!! He's got another potential stage win coming his way on tuesday!

Dayvo - I think Thomas has a bright future ahead though. Hope so anyway.

I hope so, he's my favourite rider just now. I've no idea why he can't TT well though, if he could he'd be head and shoulders above the rest (then again he'd probably also be on dope  )

Contador loses another 30 seconds on Wiggins, Evans and the Schlecks... maybe he's just trying to give the others a chance!

Pretty awful start for Saxo Bank.
Difficult to see how Bertie can make it up to the leaders before stage 12 ?

Anyone remember a tour where the favourite was 2 minutes down on stage 2. I'm sure there was but my TdF book is in box somewhere?

Did anyone else find ITV's attitude towards Millar a bit odd?

The commentators didn't mention him once during Garmin's run, and at one point they praised "the British riders of Sky and HTC in 2nd and 3rd place", ignoring Millar's Garmin in 1st.
