He is a trifle annoying.

He should try the Raid Pyrenean. Climbing the Col du Tourmalet when it's snowing and bloody freezing, drinks lots of coffee in the cafe to warm you (it doesn't work) then cycling down the other side when first it's still snowing and you have to keep pedalling or your shivering would upset the bike then it turns to torrential rain and the road is like a river. You still have to keep pedalling cos you know you will get hypothermia if you cool down any more. It's great!

No - and he certainly doesn't look like he has done the mountain stage - looks like he's been dropped off by car 1 km from the top.
