Hah. So much for predictions. I don't think I got anyone in the top 10, a late shout on Hushovd doesn't count. He's had a quite start to the season hasn't he. Maybe he's coming good at the right time.

Looked like the pace and the gradient did for most of the sprinters, even the more all-purpose ones.

Bozic! Most of the pure sprinters' chances were destroyed by the late break from Boonen. HTC-Columbia were unable to set up their train properly.

Cav got lost in the mayhem with 1km to go and it was every man for himself. More fun than a conventional train in my opinion.

Boonen was a bit ambitious to think he could hold them off for that long!

I guess he figured it was his only chance, especially with the mayhem in the bunch. There were some great overhead shots on the coverage showing the struggling for positions and wheels.
