Proper racing, you don’t tend to get these exposed moors the same in other countries. It’s usually either hilly or exposed not both.

Super British . In Norway there's similar barrenness but the roads are bigger and graded in. Not sellotaped to every bump and contour and only 2 m wide

It’s around that 1 minute lead for ages now. It came down quite a bit but has just got stuck. Front two both with something to gain.

Was out on the road watching it around Easingwold this morning. The entourage and circus following it looked chaotic and totally out of proportion to the number of riders to my (wholly untrained) eye.

Pleased to say that the support for the event was very positive overall.
