No wonder he's so far down the GC - it must weigh a tonne...

Has a good day out in Northampton today despite mucking up timings the whole day. Later arrival than planned but we saw Loulou and Remco and then cheered them off!

Got back to Northampton 20 mins before the estimated arrival and they were mid podium celebrations! Gutted!

And from the other end of the race - this was before midday so nothing apart from a few of the teams' mobile workshop vans had got to Felixstowe, but I got a free cap!

I saw loads of people wearing those in Lowestoft. I guessed they were free - but never stumbled across them being given out. Oh well; it’s not like I’m bald and could really need a hat to protect my bare skin 🤣🤣

Have fun if you’re watching somewhere……

https://road.cc/content/news/cycling-live-blog-29-may-2025-314183#live-blog-item-67407 reports that the 2025 Women's Tour of Britain is being downgraded to online-only coverage, on the BBC iPlayer and website. I wonder if this means itv is getting out of cycle sport completely, now they're about to lose the ASO races. Terrible shame for the race, though, and I'm surprised it's allowed by the UCI WWT rules.

Excellent news, after being only on Disco+ live with ITV highlights, the women tour can be watched in full live for free on BBC iplayer, I just hope they do some highlight packages to complement it .
BBC haven't broadcast highlights of the RideLondon Classique or the Road World Championships the last few years, so I think that's a big hope, unless British Cycling Events have negotiated better than usual.
