@13 rider - You would think I could identify my own child  or that he'd know where he was :okay: . Actual son no. 2 in University of Nottingham shorts and a shower jacket at 20km to go, not 24km to go:

IDing ones bike is always easier...

Mine and Mrs Celine's bikes on the second pass of Dingleton Hill.

We watched the first pass from further down the hill, rode home for lunch getting wet in the process, rode back to watch the second pass and got absolutely drenched.

Very poor marshalling, there was no one to stop cars turning on to the course from the side roads on to the hill after the initial police motorcycles had left. Even on the first pass the gaps at the back of the field were so long a few cars turned on to the hill, at least going in the same direction as the race.

Much worse on the second pass with several cars going down the hill towards the riders.

I was lower down the hill the police stopped the cars ( 2nd pass) coming down at the bottom. A problem being a Guest carrying car took the position of blocking off a road but it left long before the last riders leaving the road open.
