i went out on the rest day and it was very quiet.

can only conclude everyone was resting from the exertion of watching wide-eyed men ride up the pyrenees.

I was thinking the opposite - I reckon I've seen fewer roadies this year than last, and not many out for a ride in the evenings. I think most (understandably) don't want to get their bikes wet!

more out today for sure

some quick ones too, grrr, although I was out about ten minutes earlier than usual so perhaps they're always there

drafted all the way down Forest Road into a stiffish wind, he was real close, moving from side to side of my not inconsiderable profile as the road turned into the wind on curves

popped out and glided away as we got to Tottenham

There theoretically should be, seeing as more people play tennis when wimbledon is on than at any other time of the year. But I think the fact of the tour de france being only on sky doesn't help.

It was on ITV4 too..!

I posted something similar the other week...but before the TdeF. definately more roadbikes around, and more old dropbar Raleighs...they just seem to keep coming out the woodwork (or peoples dank sheds probably );)
