Looking for a reliable and comfortable pair of 3/4 length bib shorts for a 800 mile across France at the end of May?

I'm struggling here ... does France have a particular influence on the choice of 3/4 bibshorts ?

Germany I could understand when there may be a call for 3/4 length lederhosen bib shorts ...

I wear shorts on tour as they wash and dry easier.

I tour France for cycling, not showing off my choice of clothing! T-shirts and baggy cycling shorts look fine when not on the bike, and are great while on it.

Endura Humvee, the best there is, expensive but worth every penny. Maybe buy an extra pair of padded undershorts to wear on alternate days to allow for washing.
