I was wondering what kind of camp stove you would suggest. I was thinking something along the the lines of the pocket Rocket but was wondering if I would easily be able to get fuel in North Europe. This will be my first tour and though it won't be very long I would like to make sure I can heat up some soup or something after a long day of riding.

I am in Denmark and I use gas canisters. You will find sports outlets and DIY stores in most towns where you can get them.

If you need any information about Denmark just ask and I will help you out. If you are camping there is an app called Shelter.dk which are wooden shelters in the wild. Mostly, they are free for one night. I have used the app and it is very good. Then there is always Warmshower, Couchsurfers and Airbnb. our churchyards always have taps and often have a toilet block. Its good to know.

It could be worth doing a little research into getting a Camping Card before you leave home. When I was there I was required to pay for the card at the first campsite and had to show the A4 paper receipt at subsequent sites. The plastic card was posted to my home address, it would have been more convenient to have had the card before leaving home.
Someone on here will have more up to date info on this topic.

I'd be looking at a stove like this rather than one that sat on top of the gas bottle

Thats the type I have. I much prefer it to the other type as it is easier to keep it out of the wind.

Remote gas stoves are my clear favourite when it comes to stoves, having been tried tested and very satisfactorily used
