If you do this you should fit a suitably thick washer/spacer on the right hand stud to prevent the towing plate being twisted/insecurely mounted when you bolt it back on.
Not good.
The tow ball needs to sit flat on the full face of the tow bar bracket. If anything goes between them then that needs to provide a full mating face.
The solution is to fit the electrics plate last so that it is under the nut at the back of the tow bar bracket. That way the order of fitting is: tow ball, bike carrier bracket, bumper protection plate, tow bar bracket, electrics plate under one of the nuts.

Are you... Parked on a pavement? This is OFC a temporary parking place while you take pictures....
