That really is excellent. Sadly on my current mobile contract all that data streaming would be anything but free.

It really was a great ride! Did Tak Ma Doon and Crow road. Hard work but Crow Road is much easier going south! Managed an average of 16.2mph so I'M very pleased.
It's all run on my HTC magic phone running android. I had another tracker running at the same time for a more accurate track. I will post this later. I also have a extra power pack connected to the phone so that the battery will last. Typing on the phone now,so will add detail later.

Is this the thing that gives the tracking capability? (ie I can't do it with my old Nokia?)

It is, there is software that I added to it (free) that allows me to track. However, if your nokia has symbian software on it, there might be a tracker that you can add. What phone do you have?

Also are you on a contract? If so, when you come to the end phone up your company telling them you are cancelling. They will ask you why. Tell them you are not happy with the upgrade options and you want phone xx. Generally you can get it! S'what I did! :becool:

If anyone is interested, here is the route I did today. I call this the two hill route and was my first go at it. Just have the 100 mile Trossachs Ton to look forward to now! :becool:
Need to edit your link to map there, magnatom...

Thanks for that, I'll look into it ;)

Can confirm that [after some messing about] the Nokia Sports Tracker works well with my N73. Drawback it is that it doesn't yet play nicely with the TomTom Navigator that is also on my phone, and since it's one or the other the latter wins. Am optimistic of getting them both working together though, think it's just a memory thing.

Um, why where you around my house last night while I was at work?

And, do you really want the world to know where you live mate? or where you are at any given time!
