Yes, we always used to use one for the rally car, it was lighter and faster than a foot pump.

Yes, always use the one of mine with a fatter barrel. Much less effort and gauge much more accurate than cheap foot pump.

Decathlon have one on sale at the mo that fits both types of valve for about £12. Might be a couple of quids more but no more than that.

I've used my track pump (Joe Blow Sport) for a 17" reasonably wide tyre. Whilst it does work it does take quite a while given the volume of air required.

Yes works pretty well - even pumping 60psi into landrover tyres is perfectly feasible, though obviously takes a while

60 psi you're joking right? 25 psi is what I put into mine. See the stencilled letters above the front tyre ? TP = tyre pressure.
