I thought one had to choose a song for each decade-ish of one's lifespan so far (heaven knows what the next 60 years will hold :whistle:)

@Speicher The Bag of Cats = brilliant! :thumbsup: The other stuff is a bit too lovey dovey for me though...:rolleyes:

I think in that version they miss off the quiet beginning. On the CD version, it starts off more slowly and then speeds up. I particularly like it as it reminds me of a steam train travelling at speed.

Call me old-fashioned, but I like "lovey dovey" as you describe it, if it means I can hear the words properly, and no, :rolleyes: there is nothing wrong with my hears. ^_^ I would not describe the track by Dennis Locorriere, as lovey dovey either, but I cannot find that song on ewetube.

Jethro Tull is an excellent choice, Vernon.

I knew the bride - Dave Edmunds
:bravo::wahhey::bravo:

Dave Edmunds!!

Top guitarist/producer/singer/writer!1 (even though he's Welsh)

I've got quite a few of his LPs on vinyl, from 'Subtle As A Flying Mallet' (the Phil Spectre influenced one), through 'Repeat When Necessary', 'Get It', 'Twangin', 'Trax On Wax', 'DE 7th', etc.....

Not sure if it's true, but wasn't he the only other person to record on Swan-Song Records, which was (so I was told) Led Zeppelins own label)

He's one artist that I regret never seeing live - BUT....... he was on Simon Mayo (Radio 2 teatime) a few weeks ago, & said he might be touring England in 2014:wahhey:
