One thing you may notice if you use a regular tyre to do intervals on a turbo is that you may get punctures. The heat build up can cause failure of the tubes. Special turbo tyres are made with a cooler running compound and I noticed my turbo punctures ceased when I started using such a tyre.
BTW, cover your stem and top tube area with something to soak up the sweat or be prepared to see all that salt eat your bike![]()
You aren't going hard enough to build up the heat in either the tyre or yourself.Punctures have never been a problem for me. Also don't have a problem with sweat as I have two big fans running even in my garage where its often only a few degrees Celsius.

I also found that. However, they are great - they even reduce the noise a little. Enjoy your turbo.Got a Continental home trainer tyre, arrived today, bugger to get on, but all sorted now![]()
