For native Londoners, or regular train visitors, why does National Rail think it'll take me over half an hour to walk from St Pancras (non-international) to King's Cross - both overland/main line rail?
The bit that's confusing me is the 37 minute walk from London St Pancras to London King's Cross.
I'm looking for a fairly step-free not-having-to-walk-too-far way to get from East Croydon to Kings Cross to take a train from there; hence trying to avoid the underground if possible - but suggestions welcome if there is a good route using the underground.
11:02 depart
East Croydon
11:33 arrive
London St Pancras Intl
using: Train FIRST CAPITAL CONNECT 00h 31 11:33
12:10 arrive
London Kings Cross
using Walk n/a 00h 37
