In my humble opinion Dan, what makes videos like that work is a few shots taken off the bike of you approaching or moving away and a time lapse style approach, a few crazy angles of interesting stuff, that kind of thing, though I appreciate not really possible if you are out for a ride and time limited.

Yer, made the best of what was at hand. Planned trip didn't go as planed. I did intend to go along via sea houses which has loads of stuff but the wind made that impossible along with a 10m stretch along the A1. I did have the car at hand but there was no where to park
Oh well.
It can be a relentless sort of wind there, it comes down off the Cheviot and accelerates over the Milfield plain, it doesn't seem to gust, it can just seem relentless and impossible - I can remember one day coming back over the causeway, continuously standing on the pedals to achieve 5mph.
I managed 9mph max. It was just non stop wind in my face. I'm really proud of myself for not stopping and just trooping through it.

I have unhappy memories of cycling across that causeway and up to Wooler.
Headwind the whole damn way.
Had I not had someone with me I'd have buried the bike in a ditch. Then buried myself in the ditch too!
