I see that you have got some blocks of soft wood which you could use to support the mudguard whilst you tap the dents out with a hammer.

Given the close relationship between Brit motorcycles of the time, is it drawing too long a bow to suggest that your Triumph looks remarkably similar to a BSA Bermuda. Incestuous blighters! Rather like Morris Minor tail lights which turned up on everything from DB Astons to AC Cobras to MGAs to XK Jaguars. Never let a good design go to waste I say!

I agree yes they look very similar in design, I am actually going to spray it in colours more akin to a Bermuda I.e. light blue and ivory..
