Hi,

Any recommendations for cycling trousers. My tracksuit bottoms aren't cutting it and I don't want tights.

Thanks

Have a look at
https://www.tudorsports.co.uk/
They sell a more traditional line of cycling gear.

Endura Hummvee? They zip off to make shorts for the warmer weather
https://www.sigmasports.com/item/Endura/Hummvee-Zip-Off-Trouser-II/L0TE?
or single track?
https://www.tredz.co.uk/.Endura-SingleTrack-II-Trousers_224086.htm?
(example retailers)

or if you want more trousery trousers, something like
https://www.condorcycles.com/collections/tights-trousers/products/pedal-ed-cycling-chinos

Velorution sell similar too

or you could just wear outdoorsy trousers with padded shorts underneath if needed

I wear Endura Singletrack - the first pair lasted a few years then wore out at the crotch. They carried on a while longer after I repaired them but eventually I replaced them like-for-like as I like them so much.

Ron Hills are good for typical UK winter conditions not sub zero freezing. They do running tracksters. I think the bikester is out of production.

Narrow leg jeans? They won't be as flexible but I doubt it would matter that much on a bike. Might be worth a shot if it's getting tangled in the chain that your trying to avoid.
