Well sorry for this tight &rse question but I want to be tight &rsed on this one.

The valve on an inner tube is coming away from the rubber of the tube. The rubber is not damaged it's just that the "glue" between metal and rubber has stopped working.

So is there a special glue or technique or whatever to seal the metal back to the tube? I could cut a hole in a puncture patch and stick it over but that's not going to be all that permanent is it?

Anyway - any thoughts/fixes welcome

Fix? Buy a new tube.

Dump it. Sorry.

Dead tubes are useful for protecting frames from chain danage, lock damage, mounting lights etc and as emergency rim tape, but once the valve is off the tube it's scrap.
