Thanks for the advice all. I have a new pump on the way along with a syringe.

Stupid question - the blaster tank of the pump I have ordered will deliver up to 160psi in one hit. I assume I actually don't want to use the max, and only aim for a suitable amount based on the rim and tyre maximums? Or even less than that to get the seal done?

Second stupid question - once the blast is done, can I deflate the tyre to then bring it back up to what I actually want it to be?

Seat the tyres dry first, no sealant, take the valve out, pump the white stuff in, valve back in, blow tyres up to required pressure.

Try around 120psi first , I used mine to seat some 650b 42mm tyres and it took 2 blasts of the tank before the 'pop'.

I bought a big 150mm syringe, it's recommended they be topped up every few months, depending on time of year, so worth getting a big 'un.

Mine was the Blue airshot thing, about £50. (tank not syringe)

I've got a couple of mates now running tubeless so probably come in handy as we've all got a couple of bikes and a couple of sets of wheels.
