Anyone running tubeless valves cut out of old inner tubes ? Talking about fully threaded ones with removable cores. My current valves are not long enough I could buy them however when inner tubes are somewhat cheaper, just wonder if its viable ?

Unlikely you'll get a decent seal unless the pressure is very low, even then.

It’s a thing - I haven’t done it myself but I know it is done. You can also cut the inner tube down so you have an inner continuous belt of rubber with the valve in.

I think all tubeless valves have removable cores, which means you can use valve extenders with them.

The removable core also allows the injection of sealant fluid without having to break the tyre seal

Yep I know all that ! I`ve just bought a new set of tubeless wheels and realised I need longer valves. I`ve ordered from Amazon. LBS had none to suit !!
